Jermaine Brown has stood where his clients stand. He knows what it feels like to carry a burden alone, to face an institution that refuses to see you, to wonder if anyone is truly in your corner. He lived it. Before law school, he took on a national security agency for its hiring practices and retaliatory conduct — and won. The agency was ordered to establish and staff a new office, retrain its management, and implement systemic changes benefiting employees and applicants for years to come.
Mr. Brown spent over a decade as a lead negotiator for the intelligence and national security community. He understands how large institutions operate — how they make decisions, protect themselves, and where they are vulnerable. He uses that knowledge to level the ground between his clients and the institutions they face — to make them see, respect, and answer for what they have done.
Mr. Brown earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center, where he received CALI Awards for the highest grade in Civil Rights Legislation & Enforcement and Public Education Law. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Frostburg State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a minor in Rhetoric from the University of Maryland. Mr. Brown is fluent in American Sign Language.
